Middle School Counseling Group Updates
All three school counselors are currently running groups in 5th grade. Together, there are five groups meeting every week for seven consecutive weeks to discuss school success. Here are the topics that will be covered:
· Binder Organization
· Agenda Books
· Homework
· Packing your book bag and cleaning it out
· Study Skills
· The importance of participating in class
· Setting academic, social, and career goals
Our Mission Statement:
The school counselors are committed to helping all students achieve academically, grow emotionally, develop socially, and explore their career interests. They are focused on creating a safe, caring, respectful, and productive learning environment through a data-driven school counseling program. All students will be given the opportunity to develop to their highest potential and become responsible citizens of high moral character.
